Educational Philosophy Statement.

Introduction

My educational philosophy is always to ensure that every child in my classroom gets access to quality education and learning with ease. My educational training and practice and experience are of immense importance in achieving my set goals and objectives for quality service both within and without the classroom. My objectives and missions are always moldable to suit the learning style and needs of my students. I have also desired a kind of learning in my classroom which is all-inclusive.

It has always been my goal and mission to make sure that learners in my classroom get motivated in growing and developing towards their full potentials and dreams. Through my experience and knowledge, I would always want to get my learners challenged to be best performers in every field they get engaged in. I have always desire mutual cooperation among different levels of my student to ensure that each learner gets the opportunity of mutual development. I have always organized group work to ensure that such cooperation and mutual development is achieved. In this case, a student is helped by another and in the process, every student is improved. In so doing the atmosphere of my classroom is markedly changed and transformed for the betterment of each learner. This case helps to improve the general performance of the class as well as ensuring socialization and mutual cooperation among the learners. My other objective which I have also learned through my training, experience, and practice is to see that all my learners get the opportunity and freedom of being creative and self-esteemed to express him/herself both in and outside the classroom. I have always sought an environment whereby my students get acquainted with both dislikes and likes and in so doing the students get to understand their strengths and weaknesses. This foundation is necessary for molding my curriculum to cover the learning style of every student (Long, 2011).

I also train my students using simple and straightforward instruction so that more of the work in class is done by them. My methodology is crucial in helping my learners to grow and expand their skills and knowledge in their own way. However, at the beginning of learning and discussion, I take the lead so that they may emulate my example even as the year comes to the end. I would encourage my students to develop the style of learning whereby they can independently form questions and answer them on their own and referring to texts books. In this way, I only become the last resort for those questions beyond their understanding. The style is also essential because it stretches their skills of learning and knowledge ((Long, 2011). They learn various methods and techniques of searching for information from different sources instead of me telling those answers directly. This makes the active through total involvement. The style would definitely be the key to success in my classroom especially if my class would learn to work on several assignments to help fellow learners. Through my experience and knowledge, I have also learned that it is very important not only to teach and guide your class but also train them to go out of class and help others from the lower classes for example.

As an experienced and trained educator, I have used objective lessons to every student whereby they need to learn of the difficulties and frustrations of life and how to correct them. For instance, I have always punished my students in cases misbehaviors and non-compliance and misconduct such as when they fail to accomplish class assignments and other tasks. I would want them to learn to be responsible not only in class but in the general life situations. However, I would not want them to get discouraged or disappointed about learning but should also experience the joy, wonder, and excitement tied to it. This only needs proper support and direction. The children are therefore entitled to a particular behavior, development, learning and motivational theories which are essential in my relationship with them. These theories are also helpful in pushing the learner in one direction of achieving their full potentials. They, therefore, require much my time and attention in facilitating their proper education (Long, 2011).

Conclusion

My educational training and experiences have been of immense benefit in helping me understand that as an educator much of my work in class is to encourage and motivate my learners. The performance of the students is heavily dependent on the personal motivation for self-improvement. I would always want to impart to them intrinsic motivation especially through lessons that are supportive as well as through personal and group assignments. It all starts with the learning of essential language of communication that bring mutual understanding. I would also encourage the involvement of the parent by having contributed in ensuring that their individual child has the necessary resources for learning and that the students should not be loaded with excess home duties. This gives them more time for learning. Parents are additional guides and mentors.
